I am not sure I like how you played this hand. You are way above my level so bring your thoughts down a notch so I could understand.

Limp MP with 55... okay fine with that.

Flop hit set on a board that could have made someone a straight with lots of draws to catch you. SB bets almost pot and you just min+ raise him? Not sure if you have him labelled as a fish or not but what do you do if he raises to $80? I don't think the bet tells you anything about where you stand.

Nasty turn card and I can understand the check behind and hope you fill up.

River is that just a value bet hoping for a call? With the pot size do you think he would have called $50?

Thanks for another post that gets me thinking.

I think you played it well. A re-raise would tell you all you needed to know...my question is, could you have laid it down? I might have been able to.

Don't you wish you had bet more on the river? That's always so tricky....

I just posted about a similar river value-bet situation (albeit at 100$HE) where I could have bet more and still gotten a call I think. I'm pretty sure this was a value bet from fuel hoping to get reraised Guin. Unfortuantely, neither got our oppenents to bite. (yeah, different hand entirely, as I already had made my hand on the turn, but I'm still gonna give my opinion.)
